[IUG] Alternate background in briefcit and extended citation

Would someone enlighten me to how to set the background to change color when
a user mouseover to a row in the briefcit screen after a keyword search?

I see in my style.css I have :
td.odd {background-color: #eff7ff;}
td.highlight {background-color: #ffffdf;}

but they are not working?  What else am I missing?
