We are using Confluence The Enterprise Wiki.
http://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/

We have tech folks that had experience with Java applications. They
installed and support the application. Confluence does have a hosted
option available.

We have migrated all data we had on an intranet and moved it to the
wiki.

We have done exactly what your goal is in providing a central location
for all things Innovative.

Staff likes the ease of access to the material.

On our Systems Office page we keep a simple HEADING with UNORDERD list
format that allows for quick editing.

For myself, I am able to do updates and modifications very quickly. At
some point I will look at design to set a template to pretty things up a
bit but right now I and the staff are fine with substance over design.

Subject: [IUG] Internal Wiki for III information

We are considering creating an internal wiki to store all of our III
polices procedures and training resources in one central location to
help make staff transitions easier. I am sure that other libraries are
using wikis for staff and would like to know what products are you using
and how do staff feel about the wiki? Off list replies are great and if
interest exists I will compile and post a report.
Thanks,
Andrea
