If your library has wireless Internet I would recommend using a standard
barcode scanner attached to a wireless laptop.

You can roll it out on a cart.

Although we have the Inventory Module, and use it for some things, for a
complete comprehensive inventory I prefer doing it one book at a time.

For anyone interested in our method you may view it at :

We use ANZIO Win for the MACROS - but it can also be done with Millenium

Subject: [IUG] Inventory Control and barcode scanners

We are thinking of purchasing the Inventory Control Module. Innovative no
longer recommends a handheld barcode scanner.

Has anyone purchased one recently that works well with the Inventory Control
module and can you give us the details?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Catherine
