Yes, two. You have two days left to vote for your favorite Enhancements. Don't worry that you've waited this long. You're in good company. :-)

-------------------------------------------
IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS VOTING
-------------------------------------------
I will be out of the office all day Thursday so if you have any problems voting, please contact Pat Crawford, pcrawfor at bryant dot edu, directly. I will not be able to respond to your email until Friday. Pat is your best bet on Thursday!

TIPS ON CASTING YOUR VOTE
-----------------------------------
Casting your vote is like an obstacle course. And we made it that way to weed out unfit voters. :-) OK, not really. I don't know why we do it the way we do but to make sure YOU are not one of those caught tripping, please make sure you do the following:

It's a three step process. "Submit - Submit - Confirm".

1. SUBMIT - Enter your votes on the voting form and at the end of the form, click "Submit".

2. SUBMIT - A new page will display with your ballot choices. You have to scroll to the end of the page and click "Submit your ballot".

3. CONFIRM - An email will be sent to your IUG site contact. The subject is "Ballot confirmation E2008..." from enhance-votes at innopacusers dot org dot Reply to the message.

If you are successful with those three steps, your vote is cast.

Happy voting!

Carol and Pat

The IUG Enhancements Committee is proud to announce the 2008 Enhancements Ballot is ready and voting has opened. The ballot has been carefully crafted by 40 Functional Experts who worked with over 1,500 requests submitted by 218 IUG member libraries. The ballot consists of 250 items, including a new category for Consortia requests. If you are a member of a Consortia but not an IUG member, maybe this is the year to join. Information about membership is on the IUG website, http://innovativeusers.org/

Here are the most important dates for the enhancements voting process -

* Mar. 10, 2008 - Ballot published on IUG website and IUG voting opens
* Apr. 11, 2008 - IUG voting closes at 11:59PM (Pacific Daylight Time USA)
* Apr. 21, 2008 - Ballot results posted to IUG website and sent to III

For information about the ballot, voting, and links to each, go to http://innovativeusers.org/enhancements/. You will need your IUG username and password to access the information. Check with your IUG Site Contact, if you do not have this information. If you do not know who your Site Contact is, please contact Janet Crum, IUG's Secretary/Treasurer, http://innovativeusers.org/forms/sec-treas.html .

Check out the list of dedicated Enhancements Committee members at http://www.innopacusers.org/enhancements/newcycle/FE2008.html . If you see any of these people in the hall or at a meeting, offer them a cookie or chocolate or just say thank you!
