You might like to add an identifier to each table type.
This gives you a hook for each.

For example:
TABLEPARAM_BIB_INFO=id="bibinfo" align="left" width="97%" ... blah blah

Then you can write up your own styles:

...
#bibinfo tr td {font-family:porkys;padding:7px;color:blue;background-color:green;}
...

It gives you great specificity

Subject: [IUG] I hate TABLEPARAM

Hi all,

Trying to redesign our OPAC again, and I am still carrying the blunt head
trauma from last time as I am dealing with CSS vs. TABLEPARAMS...

I'm writing you now after not finding my answer in the archives, manual, or
Clearinghouse.

Does anyone have the complete understanding, patience, and willingness to
explain the nesting order and logic of the system-generated tables, and the
best way to control them? It is making me insane to see TABLEPARAMS that
don't seem to namely correspond to a style in the style sheet and I am sick
or working in the dark somewhat.

Examples:

We have TABLEPARAM_BROWSE, but there is no BROWSE style. Instead, we have
table.browseScreen, which contains table.browseList...

We have TABLEPARAM_BIB, and then a multitude of other
TABLEPARAM_BIB(fill_in_the_blank) with a trillion flavors of divs, spans,
and tables or TDs using bib(something) style declarations. I would love to
see this explained more simply.

Who's who and what goes where with what!?

I have experimented having no values for ANY of my TABLEPARAM wwwoptions and
trying to control everything via the style sheet. It does work for some
things, but not for others. Is this wrong? I don't get it.

Thanks in advance for any help!!
