Hi Sara,
The url which I use, is the url to our OPAC plus the bib record, (=b2227432)
which can easily be extracted in Create Lists.
http://clicnet.clic.edu/record=b2227432
Exporting the dates was problematic, and I tried a variety of techniques all
to no avail. In the end it took manually cutting and pasting to sort out
all of the holdings information.
In my Create List, I included the Acq Status, this enabled me to quickly
identify titles no longer received and the end dates. For dates of
currently received titles it was just a matter of learning to read the very
long string of data.
In your spreadsheet you are able to indicate gaps (just separate by
semicolon) for example in your Start Date column 1969-1976; 1990
Limited retention can be displayed as "3 months ago" in the Start column and
Serials Solutions supplies "to present" in an empty End column.
I also created separate files for different formats, so a user can readily
see the format for the holdings listed.
"from 1936 to 1987 in Bethel University Microfilm Drawers
from 1987 to present in Bethel University Print Journals"
Good Luck,
Sally

If I recall correctly when we sent our list to Serials Solutions I
exported all that data into an Excel spreadsheet and manually deleted
the end date from our holdings lines and put it in a separate column. We
weren't using holdings records at that time and had all that data in an
866 in the bib record in the format v.6-14 1970-79. For Serials
Solutions it had to read v.6 1970 in one column and v.14 1979 in
another.
