Don't you hate it when you spend hours trying to find the best way to fix one of those IE CSS problems only to resort to that kludge that took you only a couple of minutes.

I found it frustrating that, in IE (not Firefox) a line appeared across the bottom of an active tab on the srchhelp pages when the same didn't on the help_index pages. Someone on this list sent out help that fixed that. However that same fix did not work on the bib_display page. So here's my kludge code for the bib_display page. Basically, I added a bottom border and made it white. Hope it helps someone else.

.bibTabSelected {width:100px;background-color: #fff; text-align:center; padding:5px 0 5px 0; border-left:1px solid #00437f; border-right:1px solid #00437f; border-bottom: 2 solid white; height:18px; margin:0 0 0 0; }
.bibSimTabSelected {width:150px;background-color: #fff; text-align:center; padding:5px 0 5px 0; border-left:1px solid #00437f; border-right:1px solid #00437f; border-bottom: 2 solid white; height:18px; margin:0 0 0 0; }

Have a happy and safe holiday season. --Margaret
