Sue: your longevity may be the problem.

We actually had to ask Innovative to turn on the ability to index 505 |t in our title index.. Since then it has worked like a charm. Our original system went live in 1994. I can't remember when we had the feature turned on, but it was right when 505 |t was an option. And yes, re-indexing might be an issue since I am sure that by now you have lots of records with the enhanced contents notes in your system.

Cheers!

Linda,

Hopefully someone will correct me if I am wrong. I know this is the same behavior our system shows and we've been an Innovative customer for 11 years. You'll find you can pull up the titles in a keyword search. It is my understanding (and this is where people may correct me) that Innovative isn't set up to index the 505 in the title index even if it is an enhanced note with the subfied t's. But I may be wrong. It may be we just haven't paid to re-index our system.

Sue
