We have a growing collection of DVDs. One of our Reference librarians
tried to get a list of all our French films on DVD for a professor by
using our Advanced Keyword Search option and limiting by LANG = french
and MAT TYPE = DVD. He was dismayed that the list included titles like
"Rosemary's Baby" and "The Stepford Wives" both of which have French
dialogue tracks on the DVD. In other words he was hoping to get a list
of films done originally in French and not titles that had been dubbed.
Have other folks heard this complaint? If so, what have you done about
it? Thanks for any advice.
