We at EWU, being an academic library, try to discourage use
of our library computers for gaming or any purposes other
than information retrieval, which doesn't take much in the
way of bells, whistles, or chrome plating. (Not to say that
they can't use some upgrading at the moment.) But we also
offer a considerable number of high end laptops for our
students to check out, and let the university's appropriate
use policy govern what they are used for. - Dave
