Mieko,
The Helpdesk was able to make separate columns, 1 for checkouts, and 1
for renewals and a total column on our Web Management Reports.

I don't have an answer to your question about opac search statistics but
Circ statistics for "All Activity" might answer some of your questions
about patron functions. Choose "All Activity", "User spec" dates, and
sort by terminal.

If you have assigned different "terminal numbers" to staff workstations
in different branches, patron workstations in different branches and
off-site access, you can get monthly or annual statistics for patron
self-renewals and holds.

In Web management reports, checkouts and renewals are added together,
but
apart from self-checkouts (for which different terminal numbers can be
assigned) all "checkouts" by patrons are actually renewals. BTW, in the
good ol' telnet version of circ statistics, checkouts and renewals are
listed separately. I don't know why it was decided to combine checkout
and renewal statistics in Web management reports when it is so easy to
add two columns together if a library needs to report combined figures.

I think that holds placed by patrons appear under terminal 0 (zero)
regardless of where holds are placed. (We have automatic processing of
patron holds turned on.)

Hope this helps.
