Good Morning,

I am hoping that many people from this listserv can assist me with my unique request. In 1999 Kent State University decided to audit all unclassified positions. After the audit my position, which was the highest job classification in my department was downgraded to the lowest job classification in my department. The lower classification has a lower salary range which I capped 3 years ago. I am in the process of going through a reclass and have been advised that if I could provide Human Resources with job descriptions and salary ranges from others who hold my position that this could support and justify a reclassification. It is difficult for Human Resources to fully understand what my position encompasses as I am the only person who is responsible for the integrated library system, which I am sure is the case for many of you who are Innopac system managers.

If you could email me job descriptions and if you are comfortable doing so; your salary ranges
(i.e. $30,000-$35,000 etc...) for your institution's Innopac Manager, I would really appreciate it. If I get enough responses, I could put together a document of job descriptions and salary ranges for Innopac managers and post the information on the IUG Clearinghouse.
