PC Applications Specialist III (Library Systems Analyst)
Denver Public Schools is seeking a PC Applications Specialists III
(Library Systems Analyst) who will provide visionary approaches on the
use and application of technology while overseeing the administration of
the Innovative Interfaces Inc. library system in the schools. This
position designs, develops, implements and evaluates procedures relating
to library information system planning, operation, training, database
monitoring/troubleshooting, maintenance, user satisfaction, quality
control, and network coordination and personnel supervision.
Requirements: Masters of Library Science or equivalent and three years
of experience or an equivalent combination of work experience and
education. Demonstrated experience evaluating, purchasing, profiling,
maintaining and upgrading library information systems as well as a
thorough understanding of MARC, expertise in training, instructional
technologies and/or instructional design. Experience with TELNET, GUI
interfaces, Windows and MS Office required. Experience with Innovative
Millennium or other library automation system, HTML, XML and Web page
design preferred.
Salary Range: $48,912 - $69, 971. Hiring range is from $48,912 to the
midline.
