Re: aol, windows xp and wam

Do NOT recommend Netscape 6; it still has trouble with some of the code 
and the Electronic Reserves do not print.  We've had problems with 
IE 5.x in printing; IE 6 is not reliable at all at this point.
AOL's handout versions are crippled; we burned some CD-ROMs 
with Netscape 4.78 and 4.79 to check out overnight for those 
people and others who need to upgrade.  AOL seems to have 
trouble with systems other than III as well.  I tell students to 
connect with AOL, then minimize or close the window and load 
Netscape while still connected.
