We were definitely told during our training (in 1998) that hitting the escape
key from the main menu screen would lose our connection. It was a training point
I emphasised with my staff, to read the screen and decide what key to hit ratehr
than panic and repeatedly hit Esc! It still definitely does lose our telnet
connection (just done it!)
