 Capital University seeks a Head Reference Librarian to assume
leadership of an active staff of three librarians who offer professional
services to a diverse clientele consisting of undergraduates, adult
students and graduate students.  Duties include general reference,
liaison to academic departments and web page maintenance.  The
successful candidate will provide leadership for Blackmore Library’s
information literacy program and for the evaluation of reference
services.

 Capital is a member of OhioLINK through which we offer about 100 online
databases, 4000+ e-journals and rapid materials delivery services among
79 member libraries.

 Required:  MLS from an accredited program; at least four or five years
relevant experience in an academic library; experience with library
automation and online databases; excellent communication and people
skills. Desirable: a subject masters or additional graduate degree;
professional/service activity.

 Salary:  $36,000 to $42,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
